K. just lost her grandfather and wanted to do something nice for her mom. They used to be close, so she figured a quilt she could wrap herself in when it became a little difficult.
K. picked the clothes and had a selection of shirts, pants and white t-shirts. We decided to die a few cotton t-shirts in tea to create a little more variation. The tea bath worked perfectly! She also had picked a pattern she liked and off I went.
This is the result!
It really was a fun quilt to make, with little surprises and a photo-label that had meaning to the recipient.
